Born and raised with polar passions for music & money, JUZMI is more than a name — it’s a mindset. Hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida, JUZMI “Rashie Witcher Jr” is an artist who embodies the intersection of authenticity, legacy, and relentless hustle. Rooted in hip-hop’s mixtape era, he built his foundation hand-to-hand — pushing physical CDs, connecting directly with listeners, and learning the game from the inside out long before streaming became the norm.

By age 11, JUZMI had already recorded his first song and caught the attention of figures through an early development deal, giving him firsthand insight into production, recording, and the business mechanics of releasing music. By 14, he’d moved to Georgia under an indie deal recording under the family given name “Roc”, learning the realities of branding, networking, and the business behind music. A natural evolution followed — early mixtapes, hand-packaged CDs, and long drives through Georgia’s outskirts selling his art directly to the people built his reputation as both an artist and entrepreneur. It was during this time that “Roc” became JUZMI, representing a personal and creative evolution.

After graduating early at 17, he brought that energy back home to St. Petersburg, FL — continuing to define his sound and identity. From that moment, he took control of his identity, his message, and his music.

In 2018, JUZMI released Chase It (EP), followed by JUZMI the EP in 2020 as an evolved artist — blending reflection, ambition, and gratitude into a sound that’s both soulful and driven. Amidst his growing career, life took a turn as he’s dedicated himself to caring for his grandmother — a life shift that’s deepened his music and character. A grounding experience, adding new layers of purpose and patience to his craft. Through it all, he’s kept recording, writing, and creating, staying true to his mission of turning his reality into rhythm.

Balancing responsibility with relentless creativity, JUZMI has emerged with a focused mission: to build, release, and scale independently while staying true to the legacy he’s creating.

Now, with his upcoming Privileged Child EP, JUZMI is poised to return to his roots while launching forward — ready to flood the world with the hundreds of records he’s crafted during these years of reflection. “Responsibility and Artistry,” JUZMI represents the spirit of independence — proof that purpose and persistence can coexist.
